Job Title: CNC Machinist and Programmer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC Doosan Puma machines. The role involves machining coupling nuts of various sizes using blueprints and precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet customer specifications. You will also be responsible for editing programs as needed. The position requires regular work hours from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate 5-axis CNC Doosan Puma machines.
• Machine coupling nuts of various sizes.
• Use blueprints and precision measuring tools to ensure parts meet customer specifications.
• Edit programs as needed to maintain quality standards.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in CNC machining and programming.
• At least two years of experience with programming, setup, and operation of CNC lathes.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with lathe setup, operation, and programming.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Strong understanding of precision measuring tools.
• Capability to work in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment

You will be working in an enclosed but open-air pole barn-style building. The environment can be cold in the winter and warm in the summers. The shop has a friendly and laid-back atmosphere with lots of fabrication machinery and equipment. While some areas may be loud, the facility is clean overall for a machine shop.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $37.00/hr.
