The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up repeat work and/or setting up new parts for multi-axis CNC lathes and/or Swiss CNC lathes. This position requires a solid understanding of machining processes, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining production efficiency and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
\n
\n - Set up, program offsets, and operate multi-axis CNC lathes to produce precision parts according to engineering specifications and blueprints.
\n - Select, install, and align tooling, fixtures, and work holding devices.
\n - Read and interpret detailed blueprints, GD&T specifications, and setup sheets.
\n - Verify machine setups through trial runs and first-piece inspections.
\n - Make necessary offsets, tool changes, and adjustments to maintain part quality and dimensional accuracy.
\n - Perform precision inspections using micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, and other measuring tools.
\n - Troubleshoot Machining or quality issues and recommend process improvements.
\n - Collaborate with engineers and production team members to optimize programs and machining efficiency.
\n - Maintain clean, safe, and organized work environment; perform basic machine maintenance as required.
\n - Accurately document production data, setup parameters, and inspection results.
\n - Mentor machine operators and perform other duties as assigned in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
\n - Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
\n - Complete job-related training as directed by management.

Qualifications \n
\n - \n Minimum 5 years of experience in CNC machining, with a focus on CNC lathe setup and operation .
\n - Strong experience with multi-axis and live-tooling CNC lathes (e.g., Doosan).
\n - Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, G-code, and geometric tolerancing (GD&T). \n
\n - Solid understanding of cutting speeds, feeds, tooling, and materials \n(steel, aluminum, exotic alloys, etc.).
\n - Experience in Lights Out manufacturing processes preferred.
\n - Skilled in using precision measurement instruments and inspection methods.
\n - Ability to work independently, manage multiple setups, and maintain tight production schedules.
\n - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and quality focus.
\n - Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset.
\n - Ability to meet physical demands of the job, including but not limited to frequent standing and walking; frequent kneeling; bending; lifting or moving up to 50 lbs.

\n - Ability to understand prints and engineering drawings with knowledge of basic algebra, geometry/trigonometry concepts along with an understanding of geometric tolerancing.

\n - Manual dexterity and visual acuity for precision work.
\n - Comfortable working in a production environment with machinery, lubricants, and metal materials.
