Market Bar Ovation is now hiring! Hospitality experience is required, and we expect members of our team to always be willing to learn, have an encouraging and supportive attitude, and have the ability to prioritize & work independently.
Our bar can only function well if we work as a team & are considerate of each other. Our bar culture will be fast-paced, influenced by neighborhood and area events and concerts, and built to be as efficient as possible for both bartenders & guests. Although we expect and encourage staff to build relationships with our guests at the bar top, this will be a bar environment where staff does not indulge on the clock. Being knowledgeable of classic cocktails and willing to build on your understanding of mixology is an expectation at Market Bar.

Day to Day, you will be accountable for (examples, not exhaustive list):
-Counting & closing drawers
-Maintaining a clean, organized bar space
-Responsible serving of guests
-Know the menu & be able to suggest options to a guest
-Prep garnishes & stock juices/RTD
-Serving guests in a welcoming & efficient way
-Arrive on time to your shift
-Be aware of your environment, both in terms of guests & prep
-Knowledge of classic cocktail specs
