A growing company in the life sciences industry is seeking a meticulous and reliable Accounting Clerk to support day-to-day AP/AR and bookkeeping functions, while also assisting with contracts management.

Youll also work closely with the operations and finance teams to prepare, review, and manage contracts using DocuSign, helping ensure compliance and consistency across templates and documents.

Title : Accounting Clerk
Location : 5 days Onsite in San Diego, CA
Salary : up to 31.25/hr DOE + benefits

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks
• Reconcile transactions and assist with month-end close processes
• Prepare invoices, verify expenses, and maintain accurate financial records
• Support contract management, including reviewing and sending contracts through DocuSign, updating and maintaining contract templates, tracking contract status and renewals
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support finance and administrative needs

Qualifications

• 13 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or AP/AR
• Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field preferred
• Experience with DocuSign or other contract management systems
• High attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (QuickBooks, NetSuite, etc.)
