Seneca Health Services is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Center in wild, wonderful West Virginia. We provide responsible, accessible, and progressive behavioral health services. We have a wide range of professionals who are passionate about helping our clients through substance use or mental health treatment. With four outpatient clinics and two intensive treatment locations in Greenbrier, Nicholas, Pocahontas and Webster Counties, we serve a wide population. Our services include Crisis Services, Substance Use Disorder Assistance, Mental Health Services, and Intellectual Disabilities Support.

Account performs a variety of professional accounting duties related to all aspects of accounts receivable, reconciliations, and financial reports and audits, requirements in accordance with federal regulations, prescribed accounting system, and generally accepted principles of accounting.
Bachelor’s Degree in accounting, finance or business administration preferred, significant job experience may be considered. Must be proficient in advanced computer skills, including proficiency in Excel; must have knowledge of the principles, procedures, and practices of general accounting. Experience with non-profit, general ledger, accounts receivable and healthcare insurance billing a plus.
Must pass a Criminal Background Check and Employment Fitness Determination through WVCARES and a drug screen.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Monitor and record revenue transactions timely and accurately - general ledger and internal documents.
Coordinate with various departments to gather necessary financial data
Analyze and interpret financial data to identify needs
Reconcile revenue accounts to ensure accuracy
Support audits by providing necessary documentation
Perform variance analysis
Assist in the preparation of regular financial reports
Assist VP/CFO and Director of Accounting with external financial audits.
Maintain a broad knowledge of laws/regulations and Seneca’s policies/procedures related to revenue recognition and GAAP
Secure information and protect operations by adhering to privacy and security regulations and keeping client and corporate information confidential.
Represent Seneca in a positive manner including maintaining a positive attitude and performing duties in a manner in accordance with Seneca’s Mission and Code of Conduct and Ethical Practices.
Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
